Surprise visitor to our 2-on-2 basketball game...

Our bishop insisted on being involved in our little tournament so we let him. Who knew he was going to bring a ringer. So he shows up walking next to his teammate Shawn Bradley. What the!!!!??? I guess he doesn't like to take any chances with losing. Anyway, it was way fun watching him play among us midgets and hear him tell some stories about the NBA and other players. It was a rather good time. It seems like something fun happens around here every week.

Emmitt got a "buzz" cut for the summer...

We aren't sure yet if we like it or not. He looks okay, but you be the judge. We also went to the Utah Museum of Natural History the same day (free on the first Monday of the month). It was pretty neat, but we're glad we didn't pay around $20 for the same experience.

What was worth the $ was taking Lorie for her very first trip to The Pie Pizzeria. Mmmm... my mouth is watering just typing it. She wasn't a big fan of the amount of cheese they put on, but everyone is a critic. We wished we'd have taken a camera with us. That place has a pretty cool ambiance. But who knew that the root beer was $3.50 because it comes "from the tap" (no refills, sorry). What a joke, Emmitt isn't a root beer connoisseur, he'd drink it if it were watered down and warm. Oh well, overall it was such a fun family night. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a rather inexpensive FHE.
