At 77 years old my grandmother Lorraine Alexander passed away recently. She was the last "blood" grandparent of mine that was still alive. She is very dear to my heart and will never be forgotten. Although I was one of her youngest grandchildren and I didn't get to spend a lot of adult time with grandma, my fondest memories are when I was younger and playing at her house and getting into a lot of trouble. It was hard to see the rest of the family so sad, especially my mom. I don't think I'll ever know what to say to someone who has just lost their parent. We love you grandma and will see you again soon enough!

I miss her, too. Every.single.day.
I hadn't seen this picture in a while, the one of you and her. It made me cry.
