What a good time to come back to blog...

My Mom's birthday is today for another hour so I thought I'd take a moment and get back into updating my blog. First of all I want my mom to know how much I love her and appreciate her. Sometimes when I think there just isn't another person on this planet who gets what is going on in my life, pow, I'll have a long phone conversation with mom and I'll realize that she gets it. I can't imagine how some people have to go through life w/o their mom. Thanks for being an A+ grandma too, nothing shows a person how much they love and respect you more than how much someone loves your children. Hope your birthday was one to remember.

So I have to apologize to any of you who have checked in every so often only to see the same lame-o valentine's day post from 3 months ago. That's right around the time I started to look into Facebook. I must admit, it is a whole lot easier to network with your friends and family and keep tabs on what is going on with everyone. But I realize that blogs also serve a purpose for family who live far away who want to see more videos and pictures of the kids as they grow but don't want to have to create a Facebook account.

Anyway, I'm back to at least once a month I swear. You can only imagine when my last journal entry was if I have neglected my blog for so long. But I'm going to put a few different posts here in the next few days to catch everyone up on the last few months. So sit back and enjoy my randomness.

Asa,
I LOVE you so much! Thanks for being such a good son...you say the sweetest things and I love our long talks and how you take such care of your family and always think of your mom! You can tell I have been away from computer since vacation and just now saw this blog for my birthday...WOW! I just can't tell you what that means to a mom! I heard someone say the other day that a child always needs their mom...and that is so true...just in different ways over the years! I am so proud of your choices and can't wait for the next calls to talk about OT school and the fun of married student housing for Lorie, Emmitt and Ruby! Great times ahead for you all! Love, Mom
